SOUTH AUSTRALIAN LASER SKIRMISH ASSOCIATION operates Outdoor Laser Skirmish games in the Adelaide Hills. Outdoor Laser Skirmish plays a lot like Paintball; but the action takes on a new element with taggers that can be pin-point accurate as far out as 250M. Most engagements however happen between 50 and 100M. With an armory so accurate, gameplay takes a different twist - it's slower paced and more strategic. While fortune may favor the bold; Laser Skirmish favors the cunning.
FOR NEW PLAYERS: Bring $40 in cash (or see EFT details below), enclosed shoes, a packed lunch, sturdy pants and a long sleeved shirt in earth or folliage colours. Hiking boots work best; runners are also a popular option. Sunscreen is highly reccomended; you will be out in the field during the peak hours of the day.
Optional but highly reccomended; kneepads, a spare shirt to change into post-game, gloves, and clear-lensed glasses. If you have a compass, handheld GPS unit, or an Australian 40/80channel UHF CB Radio bring them along to improve your gaming experience. A bum-bag or small backpack to keep everything in as well will serve you well.

HOW TO FIND THE IRONBANK FIELD? We're directly NEXT DOOR to 372 Ironbank Road, Ironbank, South Australia. GPS Coordinates -35.049412° 138.691954°. Easiest way to get to the field is to get on Ironbank Road, and if you're coming from south heading north the signs will be on the left before that tight hairpin turn before the intersection of Morgans Road (back way into Stirling), and if you're coming from Stirling/Crafers the signs will on the right just after the hairpin. If you see a concrete water tank on your right hand side after you've passed the gate you're at the right place. Follow the track down the hill and the car park will be on your left hand side.
RETURNING PLAYERS: The usual pay scale SALSA runs remains the same; $20 if you've got your own GIB and tagger. $30 if you need to hire a GIB. Bring your radios, pens and pencils, and a compass if you have one.
